There are five classes available to a player in Warface, each class naturally has it strong and weak sides. Also 3 out of 5 classes have unique support abilities.

In PvP missions it is possible to switch the character class during the game, but in PvE missions class is locked until the end of the mission.

Primary Weapon Secondary Weapon
Assault Rifle / Machine Gun Pistol
Special Ability
Ability to restore ammunition to oneself and human allies.
Tactical Notes
The Rifleman is ideal for players that prefer a versatile class for all aspects of combat. Assault rifles are accurate at longer ranges and have faster handling speeds, while Machine Guns are ideal for suppressing enemy movement and engaging multiple targets at a time. Their ability to restore ammunition makes them vital in longer missions.

Shotgun Pistol
Special Ability
Ability to restore health to oneself and human allies, as well as revive fallen human allies.
Tactical Notes
The Medic is ideal for Close-quarters combat and support. Shotguns perform very well at close quarters, but are highly ineffective for longer ranges. The ability to restore health and revive allies makes them essential for round-based game modes and an invaluable asset for PvE missions, allowing for a higher margin of error in both cases.

Engineer

Submachine Gun Pistol
Special Ability
Ability to restore armor to oneself and allies; ability to deploy mines; duration of planting and defusing bombs decreased by 50%; able to revive fallen SED allies.
Tactical Notes
The Engineer is ideal for beginners who require a high margin of error, and an operational class for short-medium ranges. Submachine guns are highly effective at close quarters and are still reliable for medium ranges, although their effectiveness is questionable at longer distances. The ability to restore armor makes them indispensable for PvP, and their mines are a useful asset for tactical deployments. The engineer is the only class who can interact with SED teammates, further increasing their tactical effectiveness as a "medic" for the SED class.

Sniper Rifle Pistol
Special Ability
Ability to knock down enemies with Bolt-action Sniper Rifles, as well as deploy Anti-personnel mines.
Tactical Notes
The Sniper is ideal for long ranges, and can easily cover all ranges of combat with more experience. Bolt-action sniper rifles feature the ability to kill enemies with a single shot at extreme ranges, at the expense of slower handling speeds. Semi-automatic sniper rifles are comparably less effective for PvP; the decreased damage per shot means that 2-3 shots are required to take down enemies, but they do offer a higher rate of fire and increased magazine capacities. When equipped with a suitable sidearm, this class can cover all ranges of combat with ease and is ideal for PvP.

SED

Sprint Speed Sprint Stamina Strafe Speed
85% 1000% 55%
Primary Weapon Secondary Weapon
Heavy Machine Gun Grenade Launcher
Special Ability
Ability to perform co-op climbs alone, as well as the inability to be knocked down.
Tactical Notes
The SED is ideal for players preferring a class for "tank"-oriented tactics, since it has a high armour value and the access to heavy weaponry. Its Heavy machine guns offer infinite ammunition, although they will overheat under sustained fire and will require a cool-down period to become operational again. It is able to take more damage than other classes with significantly increased armor, although it only has 30 health points, making him vulnerable to melee attacks, since melee attacks ignore armor. It is also significantly slower than its human counterparts, although it can sprint for far longer.
