Helmets

Helmets protect the head. Note that head protection only reduces the damage multiplier to the head and not the total damage. For example, headshots from Assault Rifles deal 500% (5.0x), a head protection of 70% would reduce that to 430% (4.3x) while a head protection of 20% would only reduce it to 480% (4.8x).

Vests

The Armor Points absorb 80% of all damage taken, with the remaining 20% being dealt to the Health Points. Melee attacks ignore armor points. Also take note that all players have 125 HP.

Gloves that offer protection reduce the damage multiplier to the arms. A protection of 20% is a reduction of 0.2x to the multiplier.
